Job summary

Toptracer is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate scalable platforms, tools, and automation for global growth. You will work across software development, infrastructure, and operations with a focus on reliable, scalable Kubernetes environments on self-managed/on-prem infrastructure.

You will contribute to architecture, deployment strategies, and engineering best practices while collaborating closely with development and operations teams.

Qualifications

Strong backend development in Python for large-scale services.
Extensive experience building and operating Kubernetes platforms.
Automation and tooling for infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Ability to reason about large distributed systems across infra and software layers.

THE ROLE

The Software Operations team is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help build and operate the platforms, tools, and automation that enable Toptracer’s global growth.

You will work across software development, infrastructure, and operations, driving technical decisions while remaining hands-on with coding, automation, and platform engineering. A key part of the role is designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes environments running primarily on on-premises infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Together with the team, you will develop the systems that remove operational bottlenecks, improve productivity, and enable Toptracer to scale worldwide. You will contribute to architecture, automation, deployment strategies, and engineering best practices while collaborating closely with both development and operations teams.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

Strong experience developing, operating, and maintaining large-scale Kubernetes platforms in self-managed or on-prem infrastructure environments

Several years of experience developing for Linux environments and working close to operational infrastructure

Strong backend programming skills in Python

Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, containerized environments, and platform scalability across both development and operations

Ability to understand large distributed systems and how components integrate across infrastructure and software layers

Strong communication and knowledge-sharing abilities, with experience mentoring and supporting team members
