Job summary

ALTEN Gothenburg is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join a team developing and maintaining test cells for hybrid engines and transmissions. You will install engines, connect test equipment, execute tests, ensure data quality, and troubleshoot testbeds to maintain high uptime for continuous 24/7 measurement data production.

Qualifications

• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with test cells or objects, and maintaining daily records of time and activities.
• Providing technical support to the team, creating guides and documentation, and ensuring knowledge development.

Main responsibilites for the role:

• Preparing and conducting tests in test cells, including setting up test objects and associated equipment.


• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with test cells or objects, and maintaining daily records of time and activities


• Providing technical support to the team when required, creating guides and documentation, and ensuring continuous knowledge development in your area

Your Profile:

We are looking for a Junior Test Engineer who is solution-oriented, structured, and detail-focused, with a strong passion for automotive testing and mechanical systems. You should excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing with your analytical skills and technical expertise to drive projects forward.

• Experience in mechanical work or testing is highly beneficial, along with a strong understanding of automotive test cell systems (e.g., AVL PUMA, ETAS INCA).


• Bachelor's degree or technical college diploma, combined with relevant work experience in similar tasks.


• A collaborative and results-driven professional, dedicated to continuous personal and technical development.


• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)


• Open to commute or relocate to Gothenburg


• Forklift and driver’s licenses are required
