Job summary

ALTEN Gothenburg is seeking a CI/CD Engineer to automate and secure build, test and deployment pipelines for embedded software in the automotive industry.

You will work with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps, bringing 2–3+ years of CI/CD/DevOps experience, scripting skills, and knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or software automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Scripting knowledge: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their CI/CD solutions.
• Experience with local automotive OEMs.

Are you passionate about Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and eager to work on exciting R&D projects with leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers? ALTEN Gothenburg is now looking for driven CI/CD Engineers to join our expanding team in the automotive sector.

About the Role

As a CI/CD Engineer at ALTEN, you will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and securing our build, test, and deployment processes for embedded systems and software in the automotive industry. You will work closely with development and testing teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient delivery of high-quality software.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for embedded systems
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to integrate CI/CD best practices

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3+ years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or software automation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience in GitLab CI/CD
• Experience in GitHub Actions
• Knowledge in Scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their CI/CD solutions
• Experience working with local automotive OEMs
