Job summary

Ericsson in Lund is seeking a junior Software Developer to join the seven-person BBI Team Lightning. You will help develop and evolve test frameworks and supporting software used by Baseband SW teams.

You will work hands-on with programming, debugging and problem solving, collaborate with other developers, and apply AI-assisted development approaches to improve quality and developer productivity. The role offers learning opportunities and gradual ownership as you grow.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in computer science or software engineering.
• Up to 3 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Git tooling and build/integration flows.
• Experience using AI tools in development.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain and improve software and test frameworks for Ericsson Baseband SW.
• Program, debug, troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Contribute to design, implementation, tests and environments.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Advise on software quality, automation and developer productivity.
• Adopt AI-assisted development approaches where appropriate.
• Grow technically and take broader ownership over time.
