Job summary

Ericsson in Linköping is seeking software developers and test engineers to join our RAN Services teams. You will work on AI-assisted engineering to advance software for 5G/6G networks and collaborate with skilled colleagues to turn requirements into working solutions.

Applicants will contribute to code reviews, debugging, and modern development practices while exploring AI/ML-enabled features. A strong foundation in programming and Linux environments is valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python or Go.
• Experience in software design, development, debugging, integration and verification.
• Familiar with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong interest in technology and future communication networks.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.
• M.Sc or B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent.

Ericsson’s RAN Services organization in Linköping develops and evolves software intelligence for 5G and 6G networks, across both purpose-built and Cloud RAN solutions. Our work supports critical network capabilities such as signalling, mobility, user-plane traffic and advanced RAN functionality.

What you will do

The skills you bring

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience in software design, development, debugging, integration, and verification.
• Familiarity with common software development tools and practices, including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly.
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• An interest in technology, our products and the role they play in future communication networks.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and agile development methodologies.
• M.Sc or B.Sc education in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
