Job summary

Ericsson in Linköping is seeking software developers and test engineers to join our RAN Services teams. You will work on AI-assisted engineering to advance software for 5G/6G networks and collaborate with skilled colleagues to turn requirements into working solutions.

Applicants will contribute to code reviews, debugging, and modern development practices while exploring AI/ML-enabled features. A strong foundation in programming and Linux environments is valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python or Go.
• Experience in software design, development, debugging, integration and verification.
• Familiar with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong interest in technology and future communication networks.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.
• M.Sc or B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to support software development, test creation, debugging, documentation, and code review activities.
• Explore and contribute to AI/ML-enabled features that may be implemented in the product.
• Collaborate with other system engineers, architects, testers and product owners to turn requirements into working solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, continuous improvement and modern development practices.
