Job summary

Tikab is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer with a UX/UI focus in Stockholm, hybrid. You will work on real features in our products from day one, combining design and coding, with mentorship from senior developers.

The backend uses Django and PostgreSQL; the frontend uses TypeScript, with ongoing framework review. You will need to read code, design interfaces, and contribute to gamified, visual engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Real visual ability: composition, typography, colour, hierarchy.
• Solid front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, responsive design.
• Practical experience or training on the back end and with APIs and databases.
• Experience with version control and readable, maintainable code.
• Ability to work with people who are not developers and translate needs into interfaces.
• A portfolio or project walk-through demonstrating intentional design.
• Degree or equivalent experience in CS, software engineering, interaction design, or related field.
• Curiosity about a domain most designers never touch; BIM or engineering tools are a bonus.
• Willingness to ask questions early; interruptions are welcomed.
• Full fluency in spoken and written Swedish is expected; very good English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop real features in our products from the start with guidance from senior developers.
• Build and design both frontend and backend components; read the code around changes.
• Work on interfaces with complex content: drawings, models, point clouds, review workflows.
• Contribute to the visual and interactive aspects: 3D, gamified experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders to translate needs into usable interfaces.
