Overview

Are you an experienced Junior designer who loves Kids designing? Do you enjoy working with different teams and products on a daily basis? Then this 1-year temporary role might be a great chance to explore this area!

As a Junior Designer at H&M Kids Complements you support the senior Product Designer developing our collections sold worldwide in all H&M markets for the Kids Girls and Boys customers, aged 9-14 years. The product groups include Outdoor, Swimwear and Accessories, including license products. The work tasks are flat sketching, assist with fittings, producing and updating collection overviews and color charts and more. You work closely with the whole team, as well as with production and it is a great opportunity to develop from your current individual design level, whilst learning from our global team. At H&M Kids we have high ambitions and a supportive team spirit!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a true love and passion for the Kids customer and products. You have a great eye for upcoming Kids fashion trends and their lifestyle. You are positive and energetic, creative and playful and a great communicator. You are a team player who can also work independently and are used to fast changes and decision making when needed.

• BA and/or MA degree in Fashion/Textile Design
• 1-2 years work experience as a JR Designer/Design Assistant for a commercial fashion brand
• A true passion for and understanding of the H&M Kids customer
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite programs primarily Illustrator & Photoshop
• CLO 3D is meriting
• A true passion for fashion, its current and future trends
• Business oriented and like to work with commercial fashion
• Strong communication skills and flexibility
