Job summary

Marshall Group is seeking an Audio & Acoustic Engineer in Sweden to secure and validate headphone acoustics and ensure alignment with our brand audio requirements.

You’ll collaborate with ODM partners, run simulations, prototypes, measurements, and subjective tests, shaping the voice and performance of our headphone lineup. Growth opportunities will match your strengths in a dynamic, design-driven team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in acoustic engineering or a relevant field.
• Theoretical acoustics knowledge, signal processing, and audio technologies.
• Familiarity with acoustic measurement procedures and common test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of acoustic simulations (e.g., lumped-parameter models, boundary elements, or finite element modelling).
• Basic programming skills, with familiarity using Python, MATLAB, and Git for version control.
• Knowledge of and interest in product development for consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development projects as a member of the audio & acoustics team.
• Perform acoustic and audio electronics measurements and subjective evaluation.
• Contribute to product documentation, development tests, and production test specifications.
• Collaborate with external partners to take internally developed acoustic concepts into production-ready products.
• Develop DSP (Digital Signal Processing) to support hardware functionality and achieve the desired product voicing.
• Validate all aspects of the audio design through hands-on measurements and by leveraging vendor resources.
