Java Software Engineer

Background

You will be part of an agile Devops team that has the task to deliver a global tax invoicing solution. The team is jointly responsible for all parts of the development life-cycle and should deliver new features, fixes, and updates frequently in close alignment with business stakeholders according to business objectives. The team is also jointly responsible for maintenance and support of the solution in production.

Your main assignment will be to support the project and as part of the devops team continue to develop the solution with new features to enable Tax Invoicing in new countries. The solution is using an event based micro service architecture and is built on Spring boot, Kafka, Kafka Streams, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Flutter, Neo4j, and Java/Kotlin. Deployment is done in either in Open shift (on-prem) or Kubernetes (Google Cloud Platform and Ali Cloud).

The scope of the consultant services:

• Take a leading role in solution design and technology modernisation of the application
• Be part of the Devops team and participate in planning, execution and evaluation of needed work
• Development of new features and automated tests, both backend and front end (Flutter)
• Handle support of the solution in existing countries

Office policy:

3 days onsite in Helsingborg

Requirements:

• Experience in building micro service / event based applications
• Experience in front end development using Flutter
• Experience in Kafka, Kafka Streams, Spring boot and Java/Kotlin
• Experience in Kubernetes, Neo4j and/or PostgreSQL is a plus
