Job summary

SSAB is transforming IT Procurement to deliver value through governance, standardization and digital tools. The Development & Governance Manager will lead process development, contract governance, and Software Asset Management in an international IT procurement team.

You will collaborate across business, IT and legal stakeholders to implement efficient, compliant ways of working and support the company’s fossil-free steel journey.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in procurement, preferably IT procurement.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, technology, law or another relevant field.
• Very good written and spoken English; strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with digital procurement tools and license management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes to strengthen governance and process maturity.
• Drive supplier lifecycle management, onboarding and sustainability requirements.
• Maintain contract and RFx templates, clause libraries and procurement documentation with stakeholders.
• Govern key contracts and Digital Roadmap agreements, including cost follow-up and risk prevention.
• Develop digital procurement capabilities, automation and AI-enabled ways of working to improve efficiency.
• Deliver analytics, reporting and KPI frameworks to support data-driven decisions.
• Establish and govern Software Asset Management practices to optimize licenses and costs.
