Job summary

WeQuel in Ludvika is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a client’s engineering team. The role focuses on IT/OT infrastructure, cyber security within electrical and electronic systems, and hands-on development and automation.

You will work onsite and remotely as needed, coordinate with internal groups, and contribute to reports, design, and testing. Start date 2026-10-15; end date 2027-10-14 as a consultancy with 100% scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in electrical/related field, or equivalent technical degree with extensive experience.
• 2–6 years in relevant field, or 10–15 years with alternative degree.
• Proficient English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on IT/OT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Hyper-V and Proxmox.
• Experience with AD and access control configuration.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, development, testing, and installation of electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation.
• Coordination of related activities internally and with other groups to accomplish objectives.
• Preparation of reports and analyses using computers and selected programs.
• Performing engineering duties under general guidance, applying standard engineering principles and practices.
• Driving initiatives to improve group effectiveness, increase customer satisfaction, and fulfill legal or other agency requirements.
• Hands-on work with IT/OT infrastructure.
• Hands-on work with Hyper-V and Proxmox.
• Configuration and maintenance of AD and access control.
• Application of cyber security and hardening concepts, syslog, and remote access concepts.
