Job summary

TechShack in Örebro invites an experienced Senior IT Architect to join a long-term B2B contract with hybrid work (3 days on site). You will design, evolve and govern enterprise architectures while contributing hands-on in .NET, C#, and modern web technologies.

You will lead technical activities in Scrum teams, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Swedish language skills are essential for this role.

B2B Contract | Örebro, Sweden | Hybrid (3 days on site) | Feb 2027 to Jan 2031

We are partnering with a large Swedish public sector organisation to find a Senior IT Architect with strong hands-on .NET development experience. This is a long-term assignment of around four years, working in agile teams that develop, maintain and modernise business-critical systems.

The role combines IT architecture, hands-on development, technical leadership and knowledge sharing. You will work closely with product owners, architects, developers and business stakeholders to design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

The environment is primarily C#/.NET, alongside migrated mainframe systems built on the Asysco AMT framework.

What you will be doing

• Designing and maintaining solution and system architectures in line with enterprise standards
• Working across the full lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, integration and implementation
• Building and maintaining applications in C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server and WCF
• Automating processes and development activities with PowerShell
• Applying TDD and automated testing practices
• Maintaining and further developing migrated mainframe systems on Asysco AMT
• Leading technical activities within Scrum teams and mentoring colleagues

What you will need

• Senior level experience, typically 9 to 12 years in a similar role, with proven technical leadership
• 6+ years with C#, SQL Server, WCF and ASP.NET MVC
• 4+ years each of PowerShell automation, Microsoft Web API development and TDD / automated testing
• 3+ years in agile environments
• 4+ years with the Asysco AMT framework, including further development of migrated mainframe systems
• Good spoken and written Swedish

Nice to have

• Recent Asysco AMT experience in a mainframe environment
• Previous assignments for a government agency or an organisation with 1,000+ employees
• Integration experience with WCF and REST

Good to know

• Start: 1 February 2027 at the earliest
• Security-classified assignment: Swedish security screening must be completed before start
• On site in Örebro at least 3 days per week
• A reference assignment will be required
