Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Trainee for Information Security at Ringhals, Varberg. You will join the Information and Security Protection team to strengthen resilience, protect critical information and support one of Sweden's key energy facilities.

Your role as a Trainee – Information security coordinator

You will join the Information and security protection team at Ringhals, where we work to strengthen resilience, protect critical information and support one of Sweden's most important energy facilities. The team supports the organization in information security, personnel security and regulatory compliance, helping ensure that information, systems and processes remain secure and reliable.

As a trainee, you will support and coordinate information security activities across the organization. You will work closely with experienced specialists, the Business Information Security Officer and stakeholders from different parts of the business. Together, you will contribute to areas such as risk management, incident follow-up, governance and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in information security while helping drive initiatives that support the safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure.

We believe you have

• A strong interest in information security, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience from studies, thesis work, internships, student projects or extracurricular activities related to information security, risk management or security protection is considered a merit.
