At Insurely we are changing the game within the finance industry. We are now looking to strengthen our team with an Insurance specialist focusing on the French market. Come join us as a part-time consultant to build the future of open finance!

You will be a key player in Insurely’s key strategic initiative to expand our services to new frontiers and be responsible for our core products localization to the French market. At Insurely, product localization is the process of adapting our product to the local culture and language of customers in a specific market.

In this role, you will be a part of, and contribute to, a transformation of the whole finance industry!

How you'll be part of changing an industry

We are looking for an insurance industry specialist and enthusiast to join our team. Your key responsibility will be to:

Insurance policies content mapping (60% of time)

• You will work directly with your Product & Engineering teams to build a data dictionary of insurance policies parameter mapping for the French market.
• You will map insurance policies documents from most insurance companies towards the designed dictionary.

Local market data mapping (40% of time)

• You will be mapping the data points required by Insurance companies based on their quoting journey.
• You will validate the data points our product offers (based on existing integrations or insurance policy pdf obtained from our testing group) against the data points required from such quoting journeys and assess the difference between the two data sets.
• You will perform quality assurance of our product specification and review the interpretation of French insurance companies’ APIs as needed.

What we look for

We are looking for an Insurance specialist, preferably with insurance data domain knowledge.

Requirements

• You have previous experience in reading and interpreting insurance policies and understand the insurance conditions' meanings.
• You have intermediary Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel skills.
• You have basic technical knowledge and are familiar with product APIs and JSON file format.
• Professional English and French written and verbal communication.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in insurance and risk management advice to consumers.
• Experience working in an Insurance company as an advisor handling claims.
• Understanding of laws and regulations within the insurance industry.
