Job summary

Astek Sweden AB seeks an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead innovative gas turbine system projects from concept to delivery. You will own projects end-to-end in a dynamic, global environment, driving innovation, quality, and reliable performance.

In this role you will manage cross-functional teams, develop structured project plans, monitor schedules and costs, and facilitate problem solving across technical challenges to support the energy transition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Proven ability to successfully lead complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D projects end-to-end, from initiation through delivery and follow-up
• Develop structured project plans and break them into actionable milestones
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (3–10 members) and foster strong collaboration
• Monitor schedules, costs, and quality while ensuring alignment with stakeholders and resource owners
• Facilitate meetings and support teams in solving technical challenges with creative solutions
