Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB in Gothenburg is seeking an experienced UX Designer to create intuitive, user‑centred experiences for automotive infotainment and in-vehicle digital touchpoints, including screens, controls, and mobile apps.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, testers, and engineers in a global product‑development setting, delivering wireframes, prototypes, user research, usability testing, and reliable HMI concepts across markets.

Qualifications

• Professional education in UX, Interaction Design, HMI, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional UX experience.
• Proven user-centred design process experience.
• Strong wireframing and prototyping experience.
• Experience in cross-functional product development environments.
• Experience in automotive/infotainment/embedded is valuable.
• Experience designing for automotive products is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop new UX concepts for automotive infotainment systems.

We are looking for an experienced and creative UX Designer to join an automotive infotainment team and contribute to the development of intuitive, user‑centred experiences across in-vehicle and digital products.

The role focuses on designing experiences for infotainment systems, in-vehicle screens, steering‑wheel controls, floor consoles, mobile applications, and other digital touchpoints. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, UX strategists, Product Owners, Function Owners, testers, and other stakeholders in a global product‑development environment.
