We are looking for an experienced ILS Engineer to strengthen our client's organization on an exciting 12-month contract. In this role, you'll help ensure that cutting-edge marine platforms - including ships and submarines - remain reliable, available, and sustainable throughout their lifecycle.

You'll work across the full ILS spectrum and play a critical role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of ILS deliveries. Your work will help optimize the operational reliability and long-term maintainability of complex defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct operational reliability, maintenance, and cost analyses.
  • Participate in tendering, planning, and requirements management processes to ensure successful customer delivery.
  • Manage obsolescence to support the product's full lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ILS tools, methods, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers in a project-driven environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics Engineering, with exposure to:
  • Maintenance analysis
  • Cost analysis
  • Operational reliability
  • Obsolescence management
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Analytical, structured, and passionate about engineering.
  • Strong communicator with relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with SX000i or other IPS (Integrated Product Support) standards.
  • Understanding of ILS frameworks and related industry standards.
  • Project management background.
  • Experience within the marine, defense, or Armed Forces sectors.
  • Interest or experience in databases and data architecture.
