Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project SCM Specialist in Sweden to act as the focal point between the company and suppliers during project execution. You will collaborate with SCM Managers, logisticians, engineers, and documentation teams to ensure deliveries align with schedule, cost, and quality targets.

You will join a team of specialists and take ownership of equipment or project responsibilities, driving proactive planning and meetings with suppliers while supporting continuous process

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field: Supply Chain Management, Business & Administration, or Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
• Preferably a couple years of relevant experience as working in close interaction with suppliers, negotiation and/or in commercial discussions.
• On a personal level, you are a collaborative and reliable team player with an independent and results oriented working style.
• You are communicative and good at building networks internally as well as externally.
• You should also have the ability to stay structured and organized even under pressure and when dealing with many tasks and stakeholders in parallel.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point between HVDC and suppliers during project execution.
• Work closely with Project SCM Managers, Logistics Planners, Engineers, Documentation Control and Suppliers to ensure deliveries meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Collaborate in a team with other Project SCM Specialists and take on equipment or project responsibilities.
• Ensure relentless execution with proactive planning and follow-up on all equipment deliveries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead, participate in, and provide information for kick-off and clarification meetings with suppliers.
