Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Project SCM Specialist to act as the focal point between HVDC and suppliers during project execution. You will work with Project SCM Managers, Logistic Planners, Engineers, and Documentation Control to ensure equipment deliveries meet time, cost, and quality targets.

You will join a team of Project SCM Specialists, taking on equipment or project responsibility and driving proactive planning and follow‑up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience interacting with suppliers and in commercial discussions preferred.
• Collaborative, reliable team player with independent, results-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point between HVDC and suppliers during project execution.
• Coordinate with Project SCM Managers, Logistic Planners, Engineers and Documentation Control to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality deliveries.
• Take on equipment or project responsibility within a team of Project SCM Specialists.
• Drive proactive planning and follow-up on equipment deliveries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead kick-off and clarification meetings with suppliers and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Project SCM Manager to address quality constraints or deficiencies in supplier deliveries.
