Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Ludvika, Sweden, is seeking a Line Manager System Performance Studies to lead a team responsible for HVDC transmission links performance and interaction with AC networks.

You will develop individuals, the group, and processes, ensuring resources, culture and compliance. You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, plan project staffing, budget, and contribute to design and verification in HVDC projects.

Qualifications

• Experience from HVDC technology or System Performance studies.
• Previous line manager or leading role, e.g., Project Manager.
• Strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
• Analytical and structured with responsibility for work and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop the team; provide strategic direction and coordination.
• Collaborate with other managers on system studies and HVDC projects.
• Plan staffing and long-term changes in team structure according to business needs.
• Develop processes and tools within the team.
• Prepare annual budget and manage within resources.
• Contribute to the design process from technology development through tender work to final verification in HVDC projects.
