Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Ludvika, Sweden, invites applications for a Line Manager, Dynamic Control Design. You will lead a 15–20 person team responsible for HVDC dynamic control design, safeguarding performance, resources, development, and alignment with our culture and values.

You will recruit, train, and develop the team, shape strategy, plan staffing and budgets, and coordinate with system studies and other managers to deliver high‑quality HVDC projects from design through verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership experience in a people management role.
• Solid HVDC knowledge and system performance studies.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the team and individuals by recruiting, training, and guiding with strategic direction.
• Contribute to HVDC System Performance Management and collaborate with other managers on studies.
• Plan staffing and changes, both short- and long-term, for the team structure.
• Develop processes and tools within the team.
• Prepare annual budgets and manage resources within constraints.
