Job summary
Hitachi Energy is seeking HVDC System Design Engineers to take ownership of electrical design and functionality for HVDC converter stations, focusing on high-voltage systems and insulation coordination. Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Power Systems or Power Electronics focus
- Strong MATLAB and Python programming skills
- Experience with EMT tools like PSCAD
- Azure DevOps experience beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and verify HVDC base design and main circuit concepts
- Improve base design and ways of working for projects
- Participate in internal transformation projects and initiatives
- Present work in problem-solving discussions and propose paths forward
- Write clear technical reports describing complex work
- Deliver activities with quality and on time
