Job summary

Gemkom Engineering and Machinery Filial is seeking an HSE Officer to support the project’s Health, Safety and Environmental management system. The role focuses on HSE documentation, records, reporting, and training coordination, with progression to practical site HSE tasks under guidance.

You will assist with RAMS, incident reporting, and compliance with Swedish work environment requirements, while providing on-site support and safety communications.

Qualifications

• HSE qualification or NEBOSH preferred.
• Knowledge of Swedish work environment requirements is advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop HSE competence.

Responsibilities

• Support HSE documentation, records, and certificates.
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly HSE reporting and KPIs.
• Coordinate HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training materials.
• Assist RAMS, Permit to Work, and other safety documentation.
• Support incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish work environment requirements and procedures.
• Participate in site inspections and safety walks to follow up actions.
• Assist with HSE communications and continuous improvement of the HSE management system.
