We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance Lead to join our People & Communication team. In this new role, you will play a key part in translating complex Nordic employment law into pragmatic and effective ways of working, while shaping our employment practices, HSE frameworks, and employee relations across the region.
This position offers direct ownership of our Nordic HR compliance framework. You will apply your legal expertise directly within a fast-moving business context, developing practical frameworks, guidance and tools that enable P&C and leaders to make informed decisions.
As our HR Compliance Lead, you will ensure our people practices remain robust, equitable, and aligned across the Nordic region. Serving as Vend’s subject matter expert on Nordic labour law and HR compliance, you will advise People Partners and business leaders through organizational changes, complex employee relations cases, and union interactions. In this role, you will oversee our Nordic HR compliance framework and HSE governance, developing practical guidelines and tools that facilitate informed decision-making for leadership and build compliance capability across P&C. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across Reward, Legal, Privacy, and Security to address cross‑functional regulatory requirements within an AI‑driven business landscape.
Nordic labour laws and regulatory frameworks are continuously evolving, requiring an approach that balances compliance with operational agility. In this role, you will proactively navigate these changes without introducing restrictive bureaucracy. You will transform regulatory requirements into modern, scalable solutions that protect the organization while keeping our culture open, warm, and deeply human.
