Job summary

TRATON Group R&D in Södertälje, Sweden, seeks a Product Verification & Test Rig Engineer to own HIL/SIL rigs and verify the Workshop Suite (tWS) in trucks. You will install and replace ECUs, perform software updates, configure rigs and troubleshoot hardware with the goal of end-to-end product quality and safety in realistic operating conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in HIL/SIL test rig engineering.
• Experience verifying Workshop Suite (tWS) as a complete product in physical trucks.
• Experience building, configuring, commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting HIL and SIL test rigs.
• Understanding of vehicle electronic systems and ECU interactions.
• Class B driving license (preferable Class C).

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, commission and maintain HIL and SIL test rigs, including ECU installation and hardware replacement.
• Perform software updates and configure rigs and connected systems with required software and settings.
• Troubleshoot rig hardware, interfaces and integrations and verify rigs meet development needs.
• Coordinate rig-related work, plan activities and align rig availability with team needs.
• Plan, design and execute end-to-end verification of tWS as a complete product in physical trucks.
• Assess quality, robustness, stability, reliability and safety-related behavior of tWS; document deviations and support investigations.
