We are searching for a Head of Sales for an innovative life science company that develops advanced PCR kits and services.

Background

Our client is at the forefront of a new innovative PCR technique that enables customers to push boundaries within molecular analysis using hyperplexing. The company offers a unique solution that helps researchers obtain more efficient data from applications such as pathogen detection, wastewater monitoring, liquid biopsy analysis, and more. As the company expands, they are seeking a new Head of Sales to grow the commercial organization and reach more researchers to enable science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement sales strategies and processes to ensure growth in new and existing markets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align with R&D, production planning, and commercial goals to achieve business objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and develop a comprehensive customer database to support sales growth and improve customer relationships.
  • Oversee and manage the budget for the commercial team to meet financial targets and ensure profitability.
  • Identify and establish new commercial partnerships in emerging markets and support existing distributors.
Requirements and Abilities:
  • Background in molecular biology and extensive sales experience.
  • Proven international experience working with customers and partners globally.
  • Familiarity with working in a start-up environment.
  • A strong track record of identifying and executing new business opportunities.
  • Proactive mindset and results-oriented approach to business growth and revenue generation.
  • Operate in a process-oriented manner to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Good team player with a can-do attitude.
