Overview

Head of Product to Postkodlotteriet in Stockholm

Do you thrive on leading through change and bringing people together? Join us to shape the future as Head of Product.

Postcode Lottery Group has a unique lottery concept based on winning together with your neighbors while also contributing to a better world. The Swedish Postcode Lottery is Sweden’s largest lottery and largest private donor to the non-profit sector, with one million customers and the ability to generate over one billion Swedish crowns for charitable organizations each year. The Swedish Postcode Lottery is part of the Postcode Lottery Group, collaborating with 1,500 colleagues in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany and Norway to create a safe and entertaining lottery experience for customers while contributing to something greater.

The Opportunity

We are on a transformation journey to build scalable, best-in-class digital products that enable exceptional customer and user journeys. To drive this forward, we are establishing Group Product as a function across markets, focusing on shared solutions such as an international CMS platform, mobile apps, and consolidation of five local back-end systems into one international platform. In Sweden, we are looking for a Head of Product who can bring clarity in complexity, connect local and global priorities, and lead a local senior team through change and growth while also being part of a senior management team leading the international product transformation.

As Swedish Head of Product, you will lead a team of Product Owners and a Product Designer, focusing on our digital lottery product – website, payments, loyalty, app and SaaS solutions. You will represent Sweden within the international Group Product organisation, aligning the local roadmap with group-wide frameworks and shared platforms.

You are part of the International Product Leadership team, and one of the Swedish management teams, consisting of Managing Director and Heads of Department. You will report locally to one of the Swedish Managing Directors and internationally to the Group Product Director, playing a key role in bridging local and global priorities.

Your Challenge

Bring out the best in a senior team, inspire innovation, and ensure our digital lottery products evolve with our customers’ needs and in alignment with the Group’s shared platforms and vision.

You will:

  • Further develop and articulate a clear, strategic vision for all product lines “the what” and the functional disciplines on “the how,” together with the Group Product leadership team.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower the team in this period of change, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous learning. Inspire the team to embrace the transformational journey.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch and iteration, ensuring they meet market needs and customer expectations.
  • Have both international and local responsibility, leveraging collaboration with cross-functional teams internationally and locally.
  • Foster a culture of product innovation through market and user research, competitive analysis, and awareness of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Set and track high-quality product roadmaps, processes, and KPIs to measure product success and inform future development.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communicating product vision, strategy, and progress to executives, team members, and external partners.
The Team and Workplace

This role is based in our Stockholm Office, located at Klarabergsviadukten 63. Our culture is value-driven – courage, sustainability, sharing and fun – and we believe in a generous, collaborative way of working with flexibility to work remotely when needed.

Travel is an important part of the role, with regular visits to Amsterdam and occasional trips to other markets. You will join an international network of peers while leading a highly engaged team locally in Sweden.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management and leadership
  • Proven track record of leading and driving forward a digital transformation
  • Strong EQ, servant leadership qualities and the ability to inspire trust and collaboration
  • Comfort in international, matrix-based organisations, with proven cross-cultural competence
