Job summary

Troax Group is seeking a senior leader to build and develop Data & Analytics with a Group-wide perspective. You will create structures, governance and a common data foundation so information is trusted, accessible and valuable across the organization.

You will collaborate with Architecture, AI & Automation, Enterprise Integrations and Business Applications to align business and IT, drive data enablement, and enable analytics that inform strategic decisions globally.

Job description

Do you want to build the foundation for how data is governed, managed and used across a global organization? Troax is strengthening its global IT organization and establishing Data & Analytics as a core enterprise capability. We are now looking for a Head of Data & Analytics who wants to take a key role in this transformation and help enable a more data-driven Troax.

The position has a global scope and is primarily based in Jönköping, with the possibility of being based at another Troax office in Sweden.

About the role

This is a newly established position with a Group-wide perspective and significant opportunity to influence. You will be given the mandate to build the Data & Analytics capability from the ground up, creating the structures, governance and common data foundation needed to make critical information trusted, accessible and useful across the organization.

You will work across the organization, bringing together business, IT, data owners and external partners, while collaborating closely with specialists in areas such as Architecture, AI & Automation, Enterprise Integrations and Business Applications.

• Define and drive the Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Establish Data Governance, data ownership and data quality across the Group.
• Develop Troax’s approach to Master Data Management and establish and develop a common Data Foundation.
• Create a coherent global approach to BI, analytics and reporting.
• Ensure that critical data is trusted, accessible and useful to the business.

• Build and coordinate a virtual data organization with relevant data owners and specialists.
• Coordinate internal capabilities and set requirements for external partners.
• Enable the business to develop relevant analytics and reporting based on a common and reliable data foundation.

Your profile

We are looking for a senior profile with experience in building or developing Data & Analytics, Data Governance or Data Enablement. Your background could be in data management, data governance, master data, BI and analytics, enterprise architecture or related areas where business and IT development meet.

You understand how to move from strategy to execution. While you are comfortable defining roadmaps, principles and standards, you are equally prepared to take an active and pragmatic role in establishing the capability. Experience from an international organization, manufacturing environment, acquisition-driven business or an organization with fragmented processes and systems is an advantage.

As a person, you are self-driven, structured and comfortable taking ownership in an environment where everything is not yet established. You have the ability to create clarity and bring different stakeholders together around a common direction. You communicate confidently with both business and technical stakeholders and combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach to implementation.

• Strong understanding of data strategy, Data Governance, data ownership and data quality.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Foundation principles.
• Good understanding of BI, analytics and reporting.
• Experience defining target states, principles, standards and roadmaps.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken. Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement.
