Job summary

OHB Sweden AB in Stockholm leads the Avionics & Electrical Department, shaping spacecraft electrical architecture and ensuring mission reliability. You will guide a ~23-strong team across power, RF, data handling, and onboard computing to deliver robust satellite systems.

The role includes recruitment, budgeting, customer liaison, and driving engineering excellence, with opportunities for impact across Europe and abroad.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as an engineer and technical leader in avionics or related field.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of department staff.
• Manage resource planning to balance project demands and growth.
• Act as primary contact for customers, partners, and suppliers on avionics and electrical matters.
• Ensure engineering processes and proper tools are implemented in the department.
• Own and optimize the department ways-of-working and budgeting.
• Support proposals by estimating costs and staffing; oversee delivery quality.
