Job summary
Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, Sweden, is seeking two project engineers to join the Harmonic Analysis team within HVDC. You will work on harmonic analysis, power quality, and electrical system studies for HVDC converter stations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems and related equipment.
- Ability to model and analyze circuits in the frequency domain, manually and with tools.
- Understanding of multi-phase system analysis using modes.
Responsibilities
- Perform harmonic studies below 15 kHz and support commissioning measurements.
- Evaluate harmonic power quality requirements feasibility.
- Analyze small-signal stability when connecting HVDC to networks or wind farms.
- Propose active or passive mitigation measures such as filters or dampers.
- Develop Excel, MATLAB, or Python tools to process large data sets.
- Present results in technical reports and participate in discussions with stakeholders.
