Job summary

Husqvarna Aktiebolag’s Product Test Lab in the Handheld R&D area seeks a hands-on tester for landscape maintenance equipment. You will conduct mechanical, functional and performance tests on 2-stroke handheld tools, plan and execute tests, and verify results meet requirements.

You will collaborate with design engineers and project teams, design fixtures and test rigs, and report findings to support product quality and development decisions.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanical engineering, physics or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in testing and verification, lab environments, or product development.
• Strong analytical mindset and hands-on approach.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical, functional and performance testing; develop and improve test methods and measurement techniques.
• Verify and document technical performance across development phases.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project teams and other R&D specialists.
• Design fixtures and test rigs; analyze and report test results.
• Field testing in Sweden and internationally when needed.
• High variation with substantial hands-on work and growth opportunities.
