Columbia Road in Stockholm is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead, AI & Digital Commerce to own client engagements, design scalable architectures, and stay hands-on with code. You will lead AI-driven features and mentor multidisciplinary teams, while growing the Stockholm practice and collaborating with sales on proposals.

You’ll work across diverse client contexts, from enterprise to digital agencies, collaborating with a Nordic community of experts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development, with a lead or architect role.
• Versatile experience across enterprise, scale-ups, or digital consultancies.
• Architecting and building varied-sized solutions from MVPs to large systems.
• Deep backend expertise plus cloud infra and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with AI in production and agentic tools.

Responsibilities

• Own client engagements and be trusted adviser on tech decisions.
• Design architectures that fit the problem, from MVPs to large platforms.
• Stay hands-on: code, prototype, review APIs and cloud infra.
• Lead AI-powered features and agents, shaping how AI adds business value.
• Grow multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, security and delivery.
• Shape proposals and solutions with sales, building Stockholm tech competence.
