Job summary

Maandag Nordic is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer for a hands-on role in Kronoberg’s advanced lab environment. You’ll design and build electrical automation hardware, interpret test requests, and run tests to verify functions and repeat behaviors.

The role requires independence, curiosity, and willingness to be on-site at least four days per week, with strong collaboration across lab and engineering teams and a focus on safe, repeatable testing processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical automation (PLC, actuators, sensors, drives, safety).
• Hands-on hardware and test setups experience; curious and independent.

Responsibilities

• Build and prepare electrical/automation hardware for tests.
• Interpret test requests and translate into test setups.
• Perform hands-on testing in the lab following methodologies.
• Develop or improve test methods and create fault paths.
• Troubleshoot electrical setups and automation systems.
• Collaborate with lab and cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement of lab processes.
• Work independently, seeking guidance from senior experts when needed.
