Job summary

Koenigsegg is seeking a hands-on Electronics Design Engineer to develop custom ECUs for its high-performance vehicles. You will manage ECU development from requirements through production support, combining advanced electronics with practical testing and problem-solving.

The role requires collaboration across engineering and production teams and entails mentoring junior engineers. You will own analog, digital, and power electronics design, select MCUs, and define interfaces and power supplies,

Qualifications

• Experience with analog, digital and power electronics.
• Proficient in MCU selection and peripheral circuitry.
• Capable of designing digital communication interfaces and power supplies.
• Skilled in PCB layout, EMC, signal integrity and power integrity.
• Hands-on hardware testing and debugging capability.
• Experience with verification and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop ECUs from concept to production-ready hardware.
• Define circuit requirements and design specifications.
• Design analog, digital and power electronic circuits.
• Select microcontrollers and develop peripheral circuitry.
• Design communication interfaces and board-level power supplies.
• Perform PCB layout, stack-up definition and EMC optimisation.
• Conduct signal and power integrity analyses.
• Build, test, troubleshoot and validate PCB designs.
• Contribute to design reviews and DFMEA activities.
• Mentor and support less-experienced engineers.
