Job summary

Etraveli Group is seeking a Hands-on Architect (or Senior Software Engineer) to strengthen its Platform Services team in Gothenburg. The role involves shaping designs, writing and updating code in templates and CI/CD pipelines, and guiding others on complex software solutions.

You will collaborate across the organization, bring a polyglot mindset, and focus on scalable, IaC-driven infrastructure, cloud platforms, and modern service architectures. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as software developer or architect.
• Experience with CI/CD and Kubernetes; able to write and troubleshoot manifest files independently.
• Mentorship: enjoys supporting other developers and discussing complex software with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong Java backend development; senior level experience.
• Polyglot mindset with experience in languages beyond Java.
• Broad interest in underlying infrastructure and IaC for running services.

Responsibilities

• Design and argue complex technical designs, collaborating across teams.
• Contribute code updates to templates and CI/CD pipelines to support developers.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure scalable, robust service delivery.
