Job summary

Lovable is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers and help define a new engineering discipline. You will design, write, and ship production code across frontend, backend and AI systems while traveling up to 50%.

As one of the first FDEs, you’ll shape standards and rituals, own projects end-to-end from discovery to shipping, and turn ambitious ideas into scalable software for Lovable’s platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to ship production-grade systems.
• Strong frontend and backend fundamentals with end-to-end ownership.
• Comfort with ambiguity and customer-facing work.
• Experience with AI/LLM projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand workflows and translate into technical designs.
• Design, code, test, deploy, and operate full-stack solutions.
• Lead end-to-end projects from discovery to iteration.
• Improve Lovable platform based on real usage.
• Define engineering standards and playbooks for FDE.
• Work across frontend, backend, and AI systems.
