Job summary

B2 Impact is seeking a Group Data Engineer to join our Group Data & Analytics team and help design and scale data platforms across Europe. You will turn business requirements into practical, robust data solutions and contribute to the new Group Data Lakehouse while maintaining the existing Data Warehouse.

You will work with an international team, learn new technologies, and have the opportunity to influence how data creates business value across markets and functions in Gothenburg, Madrid,

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• Programming knowledge in Python, or willingness to learn.
• Experience with Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with Delta Lake and Polars, or similar data-processing libraries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global peers on data infrastructure, solution design and data insights.
• Analyse, combine and prepare data based on business requirements.
• Design and develop data pipelines, ETL processes and reports.
• Document data flows, processes and reports in a structured way.
• Develop and maintain data processes for Group functions and local markets within the new Group Data Lakehouse, while maintaining the existing Group Data Warehouse.
