Job summary

Orkla House Care seeks an experienced Category Manager Raw Material to join our Group Procurement team, owning selected raw material categories, driving supplier performance, cost competitiveness, sustainability, and supply security.

The role can be based in Bromsgrove, UK or Bankeryd, Sweden, with openness to Malmö region and a remote arrangement with regular travel to Bankeryd and other locations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Experience developing category strategies and negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with procurement systems and spend analytics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies to drive cost competitiveness and supply security.
• Lead sourcing activities including supplier selection, RFQs, benchmarking, negotiations, and contract management.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships to drive innovation and sustainable practices.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, compliance and sustainability.
• Identify and deliver cost improvement initiatives while managing supply risks.
• Support product development and cross-functional initiatives with Procurement, R&D, Quality, and Operations.
• Utilize procurement data, analytics, and digital tools to support fact-based decision-making and reporting.
