Job summary

Talurit Group, founded in 1948, seeks a Material & Production Planner to align materials, capacity, and inventory with demand. You will coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, and Customer Service to translate demand into actionable production plans.

You will manage material requirements, purchase orders, and supplier delivery performance while optimizing inventory and ERP data. Fluency in Swedish and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain planning within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes, material flow, and inventory management.
• Experience with BOM structures, routings, and planning parameters is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems and MRP-driven environments.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Advanced Excel skills and a high level of digital competence.
• Experience with inventory optimization, lead time management, and supplier coordination is an advantage.
• Understanding of inventory control principles, safety stock, reorder points, and working capital optimization.
• Experience with iScala is an advantage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain realistic production schedules based on demand, capacity, material availability, and priorities.
• Plan and manage material requirements to support production and customer deliveries.
• Place and follow up purchase orders in accordance with sourcing strategies and supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier confirmations, delivery dates, shortages, and supply risks.
• Coordinate priorities between production, warehouse, engineering, purchasing, and customer service.
• Maintain planning parameters, lead times, routing data, operations, and ERP master data.
• Analyze inventory levels, material availability, safety stocks, and working capital.
• Identify bottlenecks, planning challenges, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Support ERP development, planning data quality, reporting, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive actions that improve flow efficiency, delivery performance, and supply chain stability.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives by balancing service levels, lead times, stock value, and working capital.
