Job summary

Boliden seeks a Sourcing Manager – Logistics to develop Boliden's transport and logistics network across Europe, working with internal teams and external partners. You will lead sourcing, tenders, and negotiations to optimize cost, service, and sustainability.

Based in Sweden or Finland with regular travel, you will collaborate with the Head of Logistics and a seven-person team within Group Logistics, focusing on responsible sourcing and continuous improvement in logistics networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Supply Chain/Logistics/Procurement or Business)
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
• Interest in supplier management, sourcing, negotiations and logistics
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Finnish and Nordic language skills are a plus
• EU driving licence (category B) due to travel requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities, tenders, and contract negotiations for transport and logistics services
• Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and partners
• Monitor transport markets and identify cost efficiency and sustainability opportunities
• Drive safety, sustainability, quality, and continuous improvement across logistics flows
• Support network optimization, transport mode selection, and supply chain development
• Collaborate with stakeholders and monitor supplier performance via KPIs and reviews
• Contribute to emissions reduction, responsible sourcing, and risk management
• Travel regularly (about 2–4 days per month)
