Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems Service AB seeks a hands-on Leader in Group Internal Audit to drive end-to-end internal audit engagements across the Inter IKEA Group. You will assess governance, risk management and control from a group-wide, end-to-end perspective, engaging with senior management and Boards to deliver clear recommendations.

Based in Sweden with Malmö as home base, you will collaborate with teams across Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and some travel (10–20%).

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading internal audit assignments end-to-end.
• At least 8 years of proven internal audit track record.
• A university degree, and preferably a postgraduate qualification.
• Strong understanding of governance structures, end-to-end business processes, risks and controls.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-native speakers.
• Ability to absorb new information, break it down, organise it, and present clearly.
• Strong communication skills, able to present clear messages using IKEA tone of voice.
• Integrity and professional judgement in diverse international contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit engagements across Inter IKEA Group.
• Assess governance, risk management and control from a group-wide perspective.
• Provide fact-based insights, constructive challenge and clear recommendations.
• Help shape and continuously improve Internal Audit methodologies and team capabilities.
• Engage with senior management and Boards in a respectful and credible way.
