Job summary

Vattenfall in Solna (Sweden) seeks a Head of L&D Strategy & Portfolio to lead an international team and align business strategy with capability development, AI, and digital learning priorities.

You will drive governance across the L&D portfolio, translate strategic needs into actionable roadmaps, and collaborate with leaders across markets to deliver measurable value and sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in learning & development, capability strategy, strategic workforce planning, skills-based talent practices and workforce transformation.
• Leadership experience in international matrix organizations managing specialists.
• Ability to translate strategy and transformation needs into priorities, roadmaps or portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of the group-wide capability strategy, forecasting AI and business transformation impacts.
• Position capability development as a strategic enabler of transformation and performance.
• Ensure alignment between business strategy, workforce planning and critical capabilities.
• Set direction for skills-based ways of working and measure value from capability insights.
• Own and govern the group-wide L&D portfolio and investments.
• Develop scalable learning that embeds in the workflow with tech, data and AI.
• Lead and develop an international team of specialists across markets.
