Job summary

SKF Group is seeking a Group Accountant to join SKF Group Finance in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will work with over 200 subsidiaries and contribute to IFRS-based reporting, helping deliver fast, accurate financial results across the Group.

You will report to Karin Unsgaard, Manager Group Accounting & Reporting, and participate in consolidation, analyses, and improvement activities while collaborating with management and subsidiaries worldwide.

Qualifications

Degree in business administration with focus on Accounting/Finance.
Consolidated experience within accounting and group consolidation with IFRS.
Solid written and spoken communication in English and Swedish.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Take part in monthly, quarterly and year end closings for the Group and Business Areas, performing consolidation entries.
Prepare financial analyses to Group Management.
Prepare financial data included in the Groups public financial reporting.
Monitor IFRS development and update reporting routines as necessary.
Participate in improvement activities in financial reporting and consolidation.
Provide support to subsidiaries, business areas and other management teams on accounting and reporting issues.
Take active part in training towards subsidiaries.
Represent SKF Group Finance in ad hoc projects.
