Job summary

AB Volvo seeks a Data Architect and Modeler to develop and govern enterprise-level data models for the Volvo Group Master Data Management. You will own the VGDM, map concepts to the Teradata mLDM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency across domains.

We expect 5+ years in data modeling, strong data analysis and Agile experience, and a university degree with hands-on Azure expertise (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, and DBT).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Proficient in data analysis and familiar with Teradata Vantage Data Model.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• University degree or equivalent with Azure tech exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Master Data architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design scalable, secure data architectures with governance.
• Own and evolve the VGDM for the Unified Data Platform.
• Lead design and integration of data models across sources.
• Collaborate to define architecture standards across teams.
• Review and govern data model changes for quality and consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement of data products and data flows.
