Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Data Architect and Modeler to develop and govern enterprise-level data models across the Master Data Management landscape. You will ensure data quality and cross-domain consistency while collaborating with analytics, engineering, and platform teams.

The role emphasizes both technical architecture and stakeholder leadership, with strong focus on scalability, governance, and strategic data initiatives across Volvo Group DTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Familiar with Teradata Vantage Data Model (or similar).
• Proficient in Azure's data services and DBT framework.
• Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Master Data architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design and govern scalable, secure data architectures and governance processes.
• Own and evolve the Volvo Group Data Model (VGDM) for the Unified Data Platform.
• Lead the design and integration of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to align standards.
• Review, govern, and integrate data model changes with quality controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of data products, designs, and data flows.
