HemoCue is a leading provider of point-of-care diagnostic solutions, enabling healthcare practitioners across clinical settings and geographies to improve patient outcomes and clinical workflows. For more than four decades we’ve been advancing what’s possible at the point of care. HemoCue offers point-of-care testing for hemoglobin, glucose and HbA1c as well as total and differential white blood cell count. The Global Business Compliance Manager for HemoCue is responsible for supporting the organization with compliance advice with a focus on sanctions and export controls as well as responsible business practices. You will also be accountable for identifying areas of high risk and work jointly with the Sales organization’s regional or local management to mitigate the identified risks for HemoCue.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Global Trade Compliance programmatic oversight, working jointly with the Danaher Trade Compliance team, and regional/local Trade Operations associates
• Import and Export Trade Operations including export screening, licensing and risk analysis
• Export Compliance with a dedicated focus on sanctions and export controls
• Coordination of regulatory compliance in alignment with HemoCue Business and Regulatory teams
• Provide guidance, training and change initiatives to crossfunctional teams on trade compliance and sanctions-related matters
• Superuser for Danaher Third Party Due Diligence process including monitoring and annual renewal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Foreign Policy or Law
• Solid experience in trade compliance, preferably in a global organization
• Strong ethics and integrity in a fast-changing environment
• Knowledge of sanctions and export controls (e.g., OFAC, OFSI, EU, UN) with experience on EU Dual-Use regulation, US export controls (EAR or ITAR) or customs regulations
