Job summary

TitanX Engine Cooling in Sweden is seeking an Application Engineer to lead the technical development of customer projects from concept to series production. You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, balancing performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability, while collaborating with Production, Project Management, and global specialist teams.

Based in Mjällby, you will report to the Application Engineering Director and contribute to product improvements while ensuring

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of product development experience.
Solid understanding of engineering design and development processes.
Experience with CAD and 3D modelling, preferably CATIA V5.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Drive technical development from concept to series production for one or several projects.
Create and manage technical documentation including CAD 3D/2D, BOM, DVP&R, DFMEA.
Perform thermal performance calculations for product definition and validation.
Work with global CAE teams to define and coordinate analysis needs.
Coordinate engineering changes across functions through Engineering Change Management.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet technical, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of products already in series production.
