Job summary

Boliden invites a Geophysicist to join the Exploration Geophysics department in Sweden. You will lead geophysical survey campaigns, process and model data, and ensure QA/QC in line with Boliden's standards.

The role requires collaboration with exploration geologists and engineers in an international environment. You will interpret geophysical results to guide mineral exploration, communicate findings to stakeholders, and contribute to developing methods and workflows.

Qualifications

• University degree in Geophysics or Geosciences.
• Professional geophysics/geoscience experience.
• Experience in electromagnetic and potential field methods.
• Experience with geophysical data QA/QC, processing, modelling and interpretation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee geophysical survey campaigns.
• Process, QA/QC, model geophysical data in Boliden's standards.
• Analyze and interpret geophysical data to support mineral exploration.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to development of geophysical methods and workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to solve exploration challenges.
