Job summary

Boliden, a high-tech metals company with mines and smelters, is seeking a Senior Resource Geologist to join the team in Skellefteå on a one-year temporary contract. You will work with mines, exploration and technical departments to facilitate development and provide data for resource estimation and reporting.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior geologists, performing resource estimation and geological modelling, verifying data, supporting mine geology and exploration teams, preparing

Qualifications

• A BSc or higher degree in geoscience or another relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in resource estimation.
• Ability to take initiative, work efficiently and adapt to change.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

• Perform resource estimation and geological modelling.
• Verify geological data.
• Support mine geology and exploration teams in their work processes and decision-making.
• Provide data for and contribute to technical studies.
• Prepare technical reports in English.
